Most Periods Never Last - Interpersonal Financial Skills Are Key!

How effectively can you manage the relationship between you and your spouse, partner, parent, or child? Today probably more than ever, there is a BIG interaction gap. It has become a personal soap market, and, yes, little old ladies are dealing first hand with grown men. Ten years ago, it was different. This is due to long credit lines, a more impersonal approach, and, frankly, more trust.
Let’s bounce back to the beginning of this decade and the housing market implosion that was followed by recession and bank failures–a direct affront to the American public–indeed a real-life living nightmare! The 2008 sub-prime implosion was such a mess of caused primarily because Wall Street and the American people were not in the correct frame of mind for the realities of greed, self-preservation, and accountability that caused the meltdown!
There were greedy mortgage brokers, institutional lenders, investors and banks plus a captive government and the “pay & go” mainstream media that ALL got a piece of the pie. It was a wipe-out on a level that we had not seen for many years. There were ratings of ‘investment grade’ paper that were given the stamp! Ratings of ‘top-notch paper from long-term investors! Yet, no one was responsible! Yet our ‘ professionalism’ in the financial arena continues!

What can we do about psychological illness?
Stop the independent contractor and see if you can work with them. Do not be intimidated. Try and work via their terms. The terms may be reduced some, but your core of ‘work’ remains intact. In exchange for you paying them an hourly fee, they agree to do some work for you!
As long as you avoid HAVEN from the incessant phone calls and rude, unfriendly demands for money, you’ll go further with those you truly owe it to!

There are only two forms of coverage, Part 1 and Part 2. Many clients are underinsured on a Part 1 basis, which we can address by arrangement with the insurance carrier. Most clients are undercover on a Part 2 basis, which is determined by how many participants are in the program or how many property types the coverage covers. You may discover you cannot make such coverage happen (i.e. you would pay more premiums than is covered). If that happens, you can either refuse to participate in the insurance program or find a satisfactory adjusted value and make arrangements later.
It’s a ‘double check’, people! Keep your eye on TRACI 16 for reliable advice. Consider using your ( arranging) accountant or another professional advisor to review the transaction for you.
